But for now, a quick share of Super Why (a "Super Reader" on a cute PBS show that William loves) and his sweet little tag-along sister.
We all went trick-or-treating - I was so happy that Gwen happened to nurse at a time that gave me the perfect window to get to take William out. He was SO cute and excited, running up front walks and climbing up steps among big groups of other kiddos in costume. He'd say, "Trick or treat" and usually have to be reminded to "only take one!" ... it was so fun to watch him. Candy is a big deal to an almost-3-year-old. So is staying up late, and holding Daddy's hand while walking through neighborhoods in the dark.
One of the funniest moments of the night came when an unsuspecting teenage girl and her mother opened their front door for William before - heaven forbid - he got to ring the doorbell. He dropped his pail, melted into tears, and after I translated his hysterical words to them, they were nice enough to re-do the whole process to his liking. The door was closed, and a sniffling toddler got to stand tippy-toed to push that all-important little bell. On we went.
Afterwards - a bit of a sugar high, evidenced both by that crazed smile and fluorescent blue tongue!

Poor William, that is so cute, though!
