Busytown Birthday Party

This weekend, we had everyone to our house for William's 3rd birthday party - a Busytown theme, of course. Luckily for William (a.k.a. Huckle Cat)we just so happened to have a pair of lederhosen - very similar to Huckle's in the books and on the show. They were my Dad's when he was little, and William was beyond thrilled at dressing up like his favorite character. It was hilarious.

Peeking into his gifts.

A remote control car from Uncle Andrew!
(note the string tying his suspenders together to keep them up - heehee)

Gwennie was passed around for snuggles and was such a good baby, as always. She is SO easy!

Enthralled with his new toys. A very lucky boy!

"Uncle D"

Aunt Erika

This was his expression while we sang to him and he saw his birthday "cake" (rice krispie treats since he is allergic to eggs)

So proud!

Thank you so much to everyone! William is so lucky to have such a wonderful family. We missed Nain and Taid, who couldn't make it because they had to stay home to look for their dog, who ran away. We hope you come home soon, Mora!
