First haircut!

Here is the "before" shot:

William, you are full of surprises. We assumed that, like lots of little ones, you would be scared to have your hair cut. We put it off, and put it off (also a function of Mommy not wanting to lose those curls!) but today finally bit the bullet.

And... drum roll... not one tear! You were so good. The hairdresser asked you to look down at your shoes, and you did. (She gave you lollipops, you were sure to listen to her!)

You looked so cute up in the big chair, and we were so proud of you. Our good, good boy.

Napless

William has been in his room since the usual 1:00 time. He has not slept for one second. Actually, scratch that. He has not stopped chattering for one second.

It is 2:55 p.m. (3:00 is usually "wake-up time")...

Overheard:

2:55 p.m. "What Mommy DOING?" (answer: banging her head against a wall! Go to sleep!)
2:56 p.m. "What Wuhnuh (William) doing?" (umm... this worries me!)
2:56 p.m. "Mommy come innnn!" (No. The answer is still no.)
2:56 p.m. :01 seconds: "Mommy, open DOOR!"
2:57 p.m. "Mommy's happy." (Not sure about that one)
2:58 p.m. "JoePa's happy." (What goes on in that little head?)
2:59 p.m. "MommycomeinMommycomeinMommycomein!"

Ohhhh, William Wesley.

3:00 p.m. I give up. Wake up time it is.

Just a Thursday Morning

A peek into a typical morning on Willow Street.

Who doesn't wear their PJs tucked in up to their ribs?

Christmas cookies

I still need to post our Thanksgiving "part two" from the State College half of our holiday, but haven't gone through all of the pictures yet.

Here are some from today of our little baker making cookies. We really love this eggless variety (poor guy and his allergies) AND the best part is that you can sample the raw dough!
