We had the most productive weekend of all time. Short of selling the house, we got everything done that we needed to. With Gula here helping, we had a yard sale Saturday morning - wanted to sell some big things that we wouldn't be taking to PA - our grill, etc. Despite a chance of rain we had a huge turnout and made a lot of $ while cleaning out our closets and garage! It was very much worth the 7 am - noon work, and William played/napped with Gula the whole time.
We spent the rest of the day Saturday, and ALL day Sunday packing. I'd say 20 boxes or so were filled and are now ready to go.
Finally at about 5:00, we stopped for the day and let William splash around in his pool. After that it felt like the 4th of July - Barb made us a nice dinner, W went to bed, and we watched the fireworks from the deck while drinking daiquiris.
Only about a week left in Austin - very sad! But we are so, so excited to arrive in PA - home sweet home.
