One week in

A perfect weekend morning.

We've been in our new place for a week now, and it's starting to feel like home.

William's nursery:






W and Georgia are definitely settled in and loving it. This weekend we checked out some local parks in Macungie, had dinner with Morgan & Adam Steckel and their adorable 3-month old Ben, and ventured out shopping (time to baby proof! Picked up a gate to start corralling William from dangerous areas). We were ALSO lucky enough to receive a visit from our beloved J. Cierski! We have missed him, and are so happy to be so close to him, and our other NYC friends, again.

Today W and I are leaving (sad that Daddy can't come) to go to the family lake house in Canada. Nanna is picking us up, and Grandpa, Uncle David, and Nain & Taid will all be there. Very excited, but will really miss Daddy (and this is Daddy's kind of vacation - boating, hiking, fishing, cards, cooking out, etc.)

So many of my childhood memories are of Canada with my family and grandparents, and I'm excited to show the cottage and lake to William. Of course he won't remember this year's trip, but we all will! Clearly I will take an estimated 400,000 pictures, so he'll see it someday.
